Bridgett King

Founder / Owner / Director of Coaching

Head Coach

Coach for Private and Group Training

Bridgett King is recognized as one of the premier coaches and developers of youth volleyball talent in the greater Scottsdale/Phoenix market. She founded the AZ Kings club volleyball organization in 2008. Since that time, she has built a Program with a reputation of integrity and excellence that focuses on maximizing the potential of players.

What sets Bridgett and her Organization apart from the competition is not just winning. It is her dedication to each individual player and their personal development in volleyball and as a person.

Her background includes 20 plus years of record setting performances both as a player and a coach. As a high school athlete, she was recruited by multiple colleges and universities, both as a volleyball and basketball player. She earned first team All American honors for volleyball as a high school student athlete in Kansas. Her commitment to excellence and dedication to developing the skills necessary to succeed at that level, carried over to the coaching and mentoring kids 7 to 18 years of age who are currently members of the AZ Kings club.

A unique characteristic that has contributed to the growing membership of the AZ Kings is her ability to manage and build a business that has a solid foundation. Bridgett’s resume includes a successful track record of winning volleyball championships at every age level. She completed successful coaching stints at Phoenix County Day, St. Mary’s and St. Theresa before starting her own club teams.

Some of the highest compliments she has received come from parents of children she has coached and developed. A prime example comes from Claude and Deborah Lemieux (former National Hockey League all star and Stanly cup champion.

“We have known Bridgett for 10 years and have personally seen the value of her coaching and training with our daughter Claudia. She recently received an athletic scholarship offer to a division one university for volleyball. We can highly recommend Bridgett to anyone who has an interest in seeing their child succeed as a volleyball player and in life.”

Winning is important, however; Bridgett’s passion, priority and commitment is to make sure each child has a positive life experience both as a person and as a player. She is dedicated to maximizing the potential of each and every one of her players as they strive to become their very best in the great game of volleyball.
